Are you interested in the production and processing of glass and would like to “get a taste” of the profession? Flintermann offers you interesting insights into the planning and production as well as the commercial field of glass production. Our internship allows you to realize a possible future profession and understand its on site training requirements.

Flintermann Glasveredelungs GmbH currently offers training in the following professions:

  • Industrial Management Assistant
    As an Industrial Management Assistant, you will inform and advise customers and sell goods from the glass finishing and insulated glass sectors. You will also work in purchasing and warehousing, take on business management tasks in human resources and accounting, and be involved in product range design and marketing campaigns. The training period is three years.
  • Plate Glass Mechanic
    As a flat glass mechanic, you will process prefabricated flat glass panels and refine them, e.g. by sandblasting or etching. You will learn about the entire production process and manufacture various glass products such as glass mirrors, safety or insulated glazing. During the ongoing production process, you will constantly monitor the quality of the intermediate and end products. The manufactured glass panes are needed for tables, doors and showcases, but also for cars, windows, solar systems, conservatories and facades. The training period lasts three years.
