Laminated glass

Safety glass, sound insulation glass, fire protection glass, throw-through, break-through or bullet-resistant glass – laminated glass is versatile. Flintermann produces laminated glass exactly according to specifications and also meets demanding quality requirements.

Laminated glass is the generic term for a connection of at least two glass panes, which are made into a durable unit by an adhesive intermediate layer of plastic, by a cast resin or by a highly tear-resistant, thermoplastic laminated film. Particularly resistant glazing is produced by combining glass panes with one or more panes of polycarbonate, ideal for overhead glazing or fall-proof glazing.

Flintermann also supplies glasses made with LED and SMD electronics equipped foils. Illuminated glass staircases, glass tables and other laminated safety glass systems can be designed and realized this way.

Every glass is unique

Crash glass, for example, is a laminated glass made of three individual slides. Framed on the outside by float glass, the middle ESG is deliberately destroyed. Foil and outer slides hold the breakage pattern permanently. Colored float glass can further enhance the decorative effect. Alternatively, fabrics can be laminated between glass or glass can be provided with wooden back panels.

TROSIFOL® COLOUR is supplied with PE intermediate film and is available in widths of 1000 mm/1600 mm and 2250 mm with a thickness of 0.38 mm. The roll length is 30 m and 200 m.
